15 million hours without incapacitating accidents in the construction of the New Talara Refinery

PETROPERU recognized the efforts of its employees and the contractors and subcontractors that participate in the implementation of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT), having achieved 15 million hours without incapacitating accidents.

The ceremony was led by the engineer Esteban Bertarelli Bustamante, General Manager of Petroperu, who thanked the workers for their commitment to perform the work under the highest standards of safety and quality.

Addressing the more than three thousand workers gathered in the Patio de Banderas of the Talara Refinery, he urged them to remain firm with this commitment until the start-up of the modern facilities of this new refining complex that will make it possible to produce cleaner fuels.

He stressed the importance of this achievement, noting that the construction of the new Talara Refinery is being carried out simultaneously with the operation of the current refinery and the work that was carried out as part of the XIII General Inspection of the Catalytic Cracking Complex.

At the ceremony, PETROPERU presented acknowledgments to the representatives of Técnicas Reunidas Talara, CPT and the Villarreal Consortium. For its part, the company Técnicas Reunidas recognized the work of its subcontractors STORK-TMI, ESMETAL, DOMINION, DEMEN, CCJJCSC, A & N, SECIN, MOPSA, SJP and COSAPI.
