All set for the participation of PETROPERU the 2019 Lima Book Fair

As part of the celebrations for its 50 years of institutional life, PETROPERU will once again sponsor the main book promotion activity in the country: The Lima International Book Fair - FIL Lima 2019.

This year, the state oil company will offer its traditional Ediciones Copé publications in a strategically located stand, where it will also provide institutional information on cultural promotion work and responsibility with its national interest groups.

Also, institutional videos will be shown and information on the 2019 Copé Award contest will be provided, currently open. All this, as part of the constant commitment of PETROPERU for the promotion of literary and historical research and creation in the country, to strengthen the culture in our country.

The editorial offer of Ediciones Copé will have fair prices in all its titles and the new published works will have an additional special price on their presentation dates. In addition, there will be raffles of packs of books and exhibition of various historical publications, art and literature.

It should be noted that publications currently sold out will be exhibited at the PETROPERU stand, but that, due to their importance, they deserve to continue being disseminated. In this way, it will be possible to appreciate - for example - the first book published by the company, such as “La Abeja Republicana” (1971), the first book of winning works of the Copé Award (1979), where the writer Washington Delgado became deserving of the Copé Oro.
