Petroperú and international consortium take over the operation of Lot

The consortium Offshore International Group INC, Aguaytía Energy del Perú S.R.L., Termoselva S.R.L and the state company Petroperú S.A. signed with Perupetro the License Agreement for the Exploitation of Hydrocarbons in Lot X (Talara), for a period of 30 years.

In accordance with the license agreement that came into effect on Monday, May 20, Petroperú S.A. will have a 40 percent participation in the operation of the most important oil block in the northwest of the country.

In this way, Petroperú continues its return to production activities, as it has been doing in alliance with Altamesa in the operation of Lot 192 in the Loreto region.
