Petroperú clarifies information regarding the visit of Antauro Humala to the Talara Refinery

Regarding the information reported in some media outlets about Antauro Humala Tasso's recent visit to the New Talara Refinery, the company communicates the following:
- Petroperú strictly complies with the established protocols and procedures for requesting and granting guided tours to various institutions, including ministries, the Congress of the Republic, unions, universities, professional associations, and public and private companies, both domestic and foreign, among others, to the facilities of the New Talara Refinery, a national public asset of global interest that constitutes a milestone in the history of hydrocarbons and energy in our country.
- On July 9, the National Unity Federation of Petroleum and Energy, through Official Letter No. 024-FEDUNPE-2025, requested a guided tour of the facilities. Mr. Antauro Humala Tasso was among those present. The tour was granted.
- Finally, any public statements made by visitors are their sole responsibility and do not in any way represent the company's position.
