Petroperu Continues to Promote Energy Knowledge Among Students

Petroperu is spearheading an initiative aimed at fostering technical and academic exchange regarding the importance and challenges of the energy sector among students and the general public. The goal is to create a dedicated space to bring knowledge of the hydrocarbon sector closer to students, professionals, and key industry stakeholders.

In line with this objective, the "Aprendiendo con energía" (Learning with Energy) conference series continued this year in Chiclayo, highlighting the strategic role of the Talara Refinery in securing the country's fuel supply. The presentation was led by Alejandro Ferry Santa María from the Talara Refinery Operations department.

The event took place at the Universidad Católica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo in the northern city, drawing the participation of specialists, students, and the general public interested in the energy sector and its outlook for both the region and the country.

Moving forward, Petroperu will continue to promote this free, continuous learning platform to address key topics such as the energy transition, technological innovation, the marketing and distribution chain, exploration, environmental awareness, and the use of clean energy, benefiting the academic community, the industry, and society as a whole.
