- Copies will be given to attendees to be signed by the authors at the close of the cultural event.

As part of its commitment to culture and the promotion of national literature, Petroperú invites the public to the official presentation of the winning works of the 2023 Copé Prize, corresponding to the 21st Poetry Biennial and the 9th Novel Biennial. The event will take place on Friday, June 6, at 11:00 a.m., in the Petroperú Cultural Center Auditorium, located at 150 Enrique Canaval Moreyra Avenue, San Isidro. Admission is free.
During the event, five Ediciones Copé publications will be presented, including the poetry collections awarded the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Copé; an anthology of honorable mentions and finalists; and the novel that won the Gold Copé in Novels. The works will be discussed by renowned literary critic Ricardo González Vigil and will feature the participation of their authors, who will share excerpts from their texts and sign the copies given to attendees.
This literary gathering represents a new opportunity to meet the most representative contemporary voices in poetic and narrative creation in the country and experience firsthand works that stand out for their stylistic richness, thematic depth, and contribution to Peru's cultural memory.
The publications are now available for free reading through Petroperú's Virtual Library.
They will also be distributed nationwide as part of the company's library implementation program. The Copé Award, established in 1979, is the longest-running literary award in the country and has established itself as a benchmark in the promotion and dissemination of Peruvian literature. With this competition, Petroperú reaffirms its commitment to cultural development and the promotion of literary creation in Peru.
