Petroperu reports net profit of over US$ 208 million for the first four months of 2026

Petroperu posted a net profit of US$ 208.4 million and an EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) of US$ 395 million at the close of April 2026. This represents a significant turnaround compared to the same period in 2025, when the company recorded a net loss of US$ 197 million.

This performance reflects the positive impact of measures implemented to optimize the value chain and supply system, alongside a more efficient management of inventories and costs. Within this framework, cost of goods sold (COGS) fell by 45.4% by the end of April 2026, contributing to the improvement of the company's financial performance.

With these results, Petroperu demonstrates solid progress in its financial stabilization process, while continuing to manage its short-term obligations and inherent operational challenges.

The current administration reaffirms its commitment to continue executing operational, technical, administrative, and financial actions that contribute to restoring the company's sustainability and strengthening its strategic role in the country's fuel supply.
