Petroperú reports on fuel supply in the face of high demand

In light of the situation created by the suspension of natural gas transport through the Camisea gas pipeline and the armed conflict in the Middle East, Petroperú informs the public of the following:

  1. In recent days, an increase in the prices and demand for fuels such as LPG, gasoline, and diesel has been observed, due to the reduced availability of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which has led to a greater influx of tankers at Petroperú's sales facilities.
  2. In response, Petroperú is making every effort to continue supplying LPG, gasoline, and diesel to its customers from its sales facilities. Currently, the sales facilities are meeting the high demand for premium gasoline, ensuring the supply of this fuel.
  3. Similarly, Petroperú is supplying diesel to a power generator (cold reserve), supporting the fuel supply to the country's interconnected grid.
  4. It is important to remember that Petroperú participates in the hydrocarbon market through the refining and distribution of fuels to its customers via sales facilities nationwide. Petroperú does not own its own service stations for direct sales to the public; instead, it operates affiliated service stations. Petroperú reaffirms its commitment to continue making its best efforts to serve the fuel market and urges citizens to consume responsibly, in line with the recommendations of the authorities in light of the current situation of the energy system.
