Petroperú's General Shareholders' Meeting presents progress in the restructuring process

Within the framework of the implementation of Emergency Decree No. 010-2025, the General Shareholders' Meeting of Petroperú held an informational meeting with the company's 12 labor unions and members of Congress, with the objective of presenting the company's current situation and the main guidelines of the ongoing restructuring process.
During the meeting, the content of the decree was explained, as well as the milestones of the process, which is being carried out under principles of transparency, openness, and predictability, prioritizing the public interest and the sustainability of the state-owned company.
ProInversión, as the entity responsible for the asset restructuring process, indicated that in February it will approve the Promotion Plan, an instrument that will establish clear rules and a defined timeline. In March, the trusts that will guarantee state ownership of the strategic assets will be signed. In April, the promotion process will be executed under criteria of competition, objectivity, and efficiency. And in June, the first contracts with private capital will be awarded and signed, aimed at strengthening the company's financial capacity, ensuring its self-sustainability, and guaranteeing its operational continuity.
The Minister of Economy and Finance, Denisse Miralles, stated that these measures send a clear signal of confidence to investors and creditors, demonstrating the Government's commitment to fulfilling its financial obligations and strengthening the company.
Similarly, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Luis Bravo, emphasized that "this work has been carried out in a serious and responsible manner, with the objective of ensuring Petroperú's operational continuity and preserving the public interest."
Those participating in the meeting included the Minister of Economy and Finance, Denisse Miralles; the Minister of Energy and Mines, Luis Bravo; the Chair of the Board of Directors of Petroperú, Elba Rojas; the General Manager of Petroperú, Rita López; and the Executive President of ProInversión, Luis Del Carpio.
