Petroperú's Piura plant achieves historic fuel sales record

Petroperú's Piura Plant reached a historic record by dispatching more than 406,000 gallons of fuel in a single day, doubling its usual volume and registering a 100% increase in sales, increasing from 5,000 to 10,000 barrels per day.
This important milestone was achieved on April 30th thanks to the commitment, efficiency, and coordination of the plant team, which responded with excellence to a challenging environment marked by port closures due to abnormal waves. In this scenario, the Piura Plant consolidated its strategic role in Petroperú's distribution network, ensuring the continuous supply of fuel in the north of the country. During this historic event, premium gasohol, regular gasohol, and Diesel B5S50 were dispatched. These products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental protection, backed by international ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
As part of its continuous improvement plan, the plant will soon add a new dispatch point, which will further streamline customer service and strengthen its position in Petroperú's fuel supply logistics chain.
