Petroperú secures first US$475 million disbursement to strengthen its operations.

Petroperú has finalized the first bridge loan disbursement of US$ 475 million from international banks—part of a broader financing package of up to US$ 2 billion—as part of the company's strengthening process. The funds will be made available through a trust administered and supervised by ProInversión, in compliance with Emergency Decree No. 003-2026.

This disbursement will enable the company to meet needs related to crude oil procurement, essential services, and other obligations necessary for its operations, thereby helping to ensure business continuity and the supply of fuel to the domestic market.

Furthermore, this transaction takes place during a new management phase focused on strengthening corporate governance, promoting administration based on technical and transparent criteria, and progressively regaining the confidence of stakeholders.

"This initial disbursement represents a concrete step in the restructuring process we are driving to financially strengthen Petroperú and lay the groundwork for its recovery. We have made progress thanks to the collaborative efforts of the institutions and teams involved. Petroperú is a flagship company of great importance to the country, and I remain convinced that we can turn it around and restore the sustainability it needs," stated Oliver Stark, Chairman of the Board of Petroperú.

In this way, Petroperú continues to advance in a phase aimed at strengthening its financial and operational sustainability, improving management efficiency, and leveraging its assets more effectively, in line with the strategy being driven by the new Board of Directors.
