Petroperú supports preventive health and child welfare initiatives in Ilo

Petroperú, in coordination with the Ilo Integrated Health Network (RIS) and the Provincial Municipality of Ilo, held the Early Childhood Fair in the Moquegua region, an initiative aimed at promoting preventative health, well-being, and the comprehensive development of families.
The event provided services to the population, approximately 56% of whom were women. Participants received basic medical evaluations, guidance on healthy habits, and various educational activities focused on early childhood health care.
The event was conducted through a comprehensive care circuit that included registration and triage, followed by referrals to specialized services and play-based learning spaces designed to reinforce healthy practices at home.
Services offered included general medicine, ophthalmology, psychology, dentistry, obstetrics, immunizations, and pharmacy services. Additionally, guidance on healthy eating, artistic activities, psychomotor games, and activities promoting hygiene habits, such as proper handwashing, were provided. This initiative reflects the collaborative work among various entities to contribute to access to health prevention and promotion services for the benefit of the population, especially young children, a fundamental stage for human development.
This activity is part of the actions established in Petroperú's 2026 Corporate Community Relations Plan and its Social Management Policy, aimed at promoting local development and strengthening the company's relationship with the communities in its area of influence through interventions focused on health, well-being, and quality of life.
