Petroperú won a national sustainability award

Petroperú won first place in the 2025 GAIA SPE Peru Sustainability Awards for its “Ikam Kiutamat” project, an initiative that promotes the cacao production chain in native communities in the Nieva district of the Amazonas region. This recognition highlights the company's commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development in its operational areas.

Organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Lima Section, with the support of Perúpetro, the GAIA Awards annually recognize the best sustainability projects implemented by companies in the energy sector in Peru.
