Standard & Poor issues a BBB-A score to PETROPERU

The credit rating of the oil company reflects the "great likelihood" of extraordinary financial support from the government, the rating agency said. In January, Fitch had awarded it a BBB+ rating. The rating agency Standard & Poor's assigned a credit rating of 'BBB-' to the long-term debt instruments of the Peruvian state oil company, Petroperú, and gave them a stable outlook by taking into account "the company's leading position in oil refinement in the country."
