Fidel Moreno Rodríguez assumes the presidency of the Petroperú Board of Directors

Moreno Rodríguez is an industrial engineer from the National University of Engineering, with a diploma and master's degree in Business Administration from ESAN, in addition to doctoral studies at ESAN – ESADE. He served as general secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Mines and has extensive management experience in the public and private sectors.

The new Chairman of the Board had been serving as a non-independent director of Petroperú since November 11, 2024, a position in which he was appointed by agreement of the General Shareholders' Meeting.

The JGA specified that Moreno Rodríguez assumes the chairmanship of the Board of Directors, in order to guarantee disciplined, efficient and responsible management in the use of the company's resources and ensure the normal development of its operations.
