Mayors of the East Lima Commonwealth visited Petroperú's Conchán Refinery
- They highlighted the company's fundamental role in the country's energy security.

With the aim of learning about the quality products that Petroperú produces at its Conchán Refinery, mayors and officials from the municipalities that make up the Lima Este Association (Mancomunidad de Lima Este) conducted a technical visit to this company's operating unit, where they toured the key areas of the fuel refining process and the production of high-quality asphalt.
The delegation was led by Oswaldo Vargas Cuellar, mayor of Lurigancho-Chosica and president of the Association, and comprised of Rubén Cano Altez, mayor of La Victoria; Diego Uceda Guerra García, mayor of La Molina; and Juan Guillermo Cabezas Llangue, Urban Development Manager for the Municipality of El Agustino.
During the tour, the visitors were accompanied by Alejandro Narváez Liceras, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroperú; Eduardo Carreño Bardales, Marketing Manager; and Moisés Carrasco Bustamante, Operations Manager of the Conchán Refinery, who provided detailed information on the modern production processes and their contribution to the energy sector.
The delegation toured areas such as the laboratory, the sales plant, the storage area, and the loading dock, where Petroperú's commitment to efficiency, safety, and quality in its operations was highlighted.
The Conchán Refinery plays a fundamental role in the country's development, producing asphalt that has been used in the construction of roads and highways throughout the country. These products, manufactured under high technical standards, contribute to the construction of durable and safe infrastructure, key to mobility, connectivity, and the economic development of the country's various regions.
As a strategic state-owned company, Petroperú reaffirms its commitment to Peru's development, guaranteeing the supply of energy products with high quality standards throughout the country.
