Petroperú delivers medicines to the Negritos Health Center

In line with its social commitment and in coordination with local health authorities, Petroperú delivered more than 8,000 units of essential medicines and medical supplies to the Negritos Health Center, located in the district of La Brea, Talara province (Piura), area of influence of Lot I.

The donation will benefit more than 5,000 residents of Negritos and the villages of La Débora and Santa Lucía, strengthening primary care and disease prevention in an area of high social vulnerability.

The medicines and supplies include treatments for chronic diseases, common infections, and basic materials for emergency care. This initiative strengthens the collaborative work between Petroperú, the Ministry of Health (MINSA), and the neighborhood associations of the La Brea-Negritos district, improving the response capacity to critical situations and facilitating access to essential medicines for families in the district. This action is part of Petroperú's Social Responsibility Policy and its plan to support communities surrounding its operations, prioritizing health projects aligned with local needs.

With this contribution, the company reaffirms its commitment to continue working in coordination with authorities, community leaders, and the health sector to improve the quality of life for the populations in the area of influence of its operations in the country.
