Petroperú exports more than one hundred thousand barrels of aviation fuel to Ecuador
- The transaction is part of the company's internationalization plan, strengthening its presence in the regional energy market.
- The fuel shipment is due to the operational sustainability and product quality of the New Talara Refinery.

Petroperú completed the export of 137,500 barrels of Turbo Jet A-1, a specialized fuel for commercial aviation, to Ecuador. The shipment is being made from the Liquid Cargo Dock (MU1) of the Talara Refinery, via the Singapore-flagged vessel MT Clearocean Ginko.
This operation is part of Petroperú's fuel export program, as announced by Senior Management, which seeks to position the company as a regional supplier of high-quality fuels. As part of this same program, marine fuel produced at the Iquitos Refinery was recently exported to the city of Manaus, Brazil.
The fuel export is achieved due to the optimization of the company's operations, which has been ongoing since the beginning of this year, generating increased revenue and directly contributing to its financial sustainability. At the same time, it consolidates Petroperú's logistical and commercial capabilities in the international market, positioning Peru as a leading fuel exporter.
âWe have been meeting operational and commercial objectives, based on a plan that allows us to ensure the continuous supply of fuels throughout the country and carry out our internationalization program in countries across the region. The commitment of the current administration is being demonstrated by the results the company is achieving,â said Alejandro Narváez Liceras, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroperú.
The TurboJet A-1, produced at the Talara Refinery, meets the highest international standards required by civil aviation, guaranteeing quality, safety, and reliability in its performance through a rigorous evaluation carried out in the refining complex's modern laboratory, which features 18 test methods accredited under the international NTP ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
In this way, Petroperú reaffirms its operational capacity and efficiency, the sustainability of its processes, and the generation of value for the country, strengthening its role as a strategic company of the Peruvian State.
