PETROPERU offers classical music concert in Piura

PETROPERU, in the framework of the celebrations for the 50 years of institutional life, presents this Monday, October 14, a concert of classical music, by the Orchestra of the New Classical Chamber of Lima, in the Grau Oval of the city of Piura a 7 pm This cultural event takes place in partnership with the Philharmonic Society of Lima and with the special support of the Provincial Municipality of Piura.

The concert will be especially attended by the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Sechura conducted by maestro Virgilio Eche Morales, at the invitation of PETROPERU, as a way to support the dissemination of new cultural values and provide the Piura community with the opportunity to enjoy a show of First level and family reach.

Likewise, PETROPERU and the Philharmonic Society of Lima come together to continue with the promotion of decentralized concerts that include the visit of renowned exponents of classical music worldwide, as well as promising figures that are attracting the attention of international critics.

This activity is part of Petroperu Cultural Policy because it promotes Peruvian and foreign musical expression for the benefit of our stakeholders; in this case of the community of Piura.

Sechura Youth Symphony

The Sechura Youth Symphony Orchestra for the World is a cultural project promoted and sponsored by the Provincial Municipality of Sechura, which began on August 17, 2015 for which children and adolescents from all districts and populated centers of the province of Sechura were summoned.

This symphony is directed by a group of professional instructors from different musical instrument specialties. On June 15, 2016 he made his first presentation under the direction of the musician Juan Amaya Morales in the municipal auditorium of Sechura, subsequently they have participated in different concerts nationwide.

At the moment, after a public contest, the professional musician Virgilio Joel Eche Morales remained as a new musical director and today the orchestra continues to perform in different concerts, stopping and representing the art and culture of Seville.

Nueva Lima Chamber Orchestra

The Nueva Lima Classical Chamber Orchestra is made up of young Peruvian and foreign professional musicians, under the artistic direction of the Dutch violinist and conductor Marnix Willem Steffen.

The Nueva Lima Clásica association was founded in 2014 to promote chamber music in Lima and serve as a platform for young and experienced musicians who live in our country. In 2017 he received the special recognition of the Andean Community for his programming of chamber music and the valuable contribution in its dissemination.

Its director, Marnix Willem Steffen, is a violinist of Dutch origin, who arrived in Lima in 2011 as the new Director of the Ciudad de los Reyes Orchestra and guest conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru. Since then they have conducted all the important orchestras of Peru and other South American countries.
