Petroperú offers free technical courses through scholarships

Seeking to train 40 students from more than a dozen communities in Loreto, in the technical careers of business administration, industrial electricity, industrial administration, maintenance mechanics and automotive mechanics, Petroperú continues to promote its scholarship program, which includes a grant for education, graduation expenses, uniforms, personal protective equipment, tutoring and medical insurance with 100% coverage.

The students are about to complete their first year of studies and all come from communities surrounding the Iquitos Refinery and the Poliducto, such as Santo Tomás, Santa Clotilde, El Milagro, Picuro Yacu, Independencia, Astoria, Centro Arenal, Costanera, Barrio Florido , Santa Clara I, Santa Clara II, Santa Clara III.

Thanks to the Petroperú Scholarship, they will obtain a degree in a technical career, allowing them to access the professional market with the best skills, since by developing certain skills the job opportunities of young people will increase, making their participation more active in the world of work. .

In order to carry out this important program, the State oil company involved the leaders of the participating communities, with whom the first coordination was developed prior to the selection process, which was carried out exclusively by SENATI professionals in accordance with their admission protocols. with the aim of having the best students.
