PETROPERU participated in the first Forum on Corporate Cultural Responsibility

PETROPERU was present at the 1st Forum on Corporate Cultural Responsibility, organized by the Academic Program of History and Cultural Management of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Piura (UDEP).

This activity was aimed at enabling some private and public companies, a platform that allows them to give visibility to the actions and / or projects that they have been executing from their areas of Social Responsibility in the cultural field; besides knowing how cultural management is implicit in each of the projects undertaken.

The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of UDEP, Dr. Enrique Banús Irusta, highlighted the importance of Culture as a meeting point and rapprochement between companies and civil society to make known that culture is not only theoretical reflections, but that lands in concrete activities and events.

In this activity, the activities and initiatives being developed by PETROPERU in favor of cultural promotion and dissemination were recognized, which promote social inclusion and seek to contribute to the construction of a more just and equitable society.

Among them, it is worth mentioning the exhibition "FÓSIL, a Vision of Peru 200 million years ago", a scientific exhibition that aims to explore the implicit value that fossils have for the understanding of the Earth, its formation, resources and possibilities. The sample can be seen in the Grau House Museum, located at 662 Tacna Street.
