Petroperú promotes entrepreneurship fair with the participation of local business owners in Talara

From July 13 to 17, Petroperú held the 2026 Entrepreneurship Fair at the Talara Refinery, in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Talara.

The fair brought together local entrepreneurs and business owners, including women entrepreneurs who participated in the technical-productive training and seed capital program provided by Petroperú as part of its social management initiatives aimed at strengthening capacities for local economic development.

Since 2017, Petroperú has trained more than 600 women from Talara in various technical-productive workshops and has contributed to the establishment of formal businesses, providing them with initial financing that now allows them to generate an average of 30% of their own income, benefiting their household economies.

With this initiative, Petroperú reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting spaces that contribute to strengthening local entrepreneurship and coordinating efforts with provincial institutions for the benefit of the community.
