Petroperú provides information regarding alleged direct layoffs

Regarding the news article published today in the newspaper El Comercio about alleged direct dismissals of 1,600 workers, the Board of Directors and the General Management of Petroperú clarify the following:

1. There are no provisions or plans approved by the current Petroperú administration to carry out mass layoffs.
2. The organizational restructuring measures currently being implemented are those proposed by the previous administration, approved by the Board of Directors, and known to the entire business and labor community. Their scope has been duly reported to the Superintendency of the Securities Market (SMV).
3. The reorganization process is being carried out using technical, orderly, and transparent criteria, with the aim of strengthening the company's sustainability and within the framework of current legal regulations.
