Petroperú reports on the temporary measures adopted with producers in the northwest

Regarding the publications that have been circulating about crude oil supply contracts with producers in the Northwest, Petroperú makes the following clarifications:

1. With the aim of safeguarding production levels and preventing disruptions to producers' operations, Petroperú has implemented temporary contractual mechanisms, such as reception, storage, dispatch, and marketing contracts, which allow producers to temporarily sell their production to third parties and fulfill their obligations to their employees and suppliers while these measures remain in effect.
2. These actions are designed to prevent the accumulation of additional obligations for Petroperú, as well as to reduce risks associated with decreased production levels, non-compliance with minimum work programs, and the payment of royalties derived from the operation of state-owned oil fields.
3. The measures adopted are framed within the provisions of Emergency Decree No. 010-2025 and are part of the actions being implemented jointly by the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, ProInversión, and Petroperú, with the objective of guaranteeing the continuity of the hydrocarbon production and marketing chain.
4. As this process progresses and financial conditions are gradually restored, in accordance with Emergency Decree No. 010-2025, Petroperú will evaluate the gradual normalization of its crude oil acquisition schemes, based on market conditions and the sustainability of the company.
