Petroperú strengthens its presence in other countries in the region
- By optimizing its operations and commercial strategy.

As part of its internationalization plan, Petroperú is consolidating its presence in other countries in the region through fuel exports, recently shipping more than 80,000 barrels of IFO 180 from the Iquitos Refinery to the city of Manaus, Brazil.
Fuel exports are carried out through the optimization of the company's operations and commercial strategy, generating multiple benefits for Petroperú, such as increased profitability, reduced inventories of residual products, and the strengthening of its hydrocarbon internationalization capabilities.
IFO 180 is a marine fuel produced in Petroperú's refineries. It is composed of a mixture of petroleum-derived hydrocarbons and is used primarily in engines, boilers, and power plants. Therefore, it represents a key energy source for industrial and maritime operations. Petroperú reaffirms its commitment to operational efficiency, the sustainability of its processes, and the creation of value for the company and the country.
