Petroperú will begin direct negotiations to select an operating partner for Lot 64

Petroperú announces that public call No. Petroperú-001-2024-L64 was declared void due to no bids being submitted during the public event held yesterday, May 14, at the company's facilities.

After the required wait, the selection committee proceeded to call representatives of the previously interested companies. However, they did not formalize the submission of their proposals.

Petroperú will begin a direct negotiation process with interested companies to select the operating partner for Lot 64, as established in the guidelines for partnerships with oil companies.

It should be noted that Petroperú holds the license contract for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in this block and will transfer part of its stake to establish a partnership with the operator and investor for Lot 64.
