Seventh milestone 2025: Petroperú exported more than 49 thousand barrels of gasoline to Colombia

Petroperú successfully completed the export of 49,100 barrels of 84-octane gasoline to Colombia from the Talara Refinery facilities. This operation consolidates the company's presence in the regional market and demonstrates the high quality standards of its products.

The cargo was transported on the Singapore-flagged tanker MT Pheasant via the Liquid Cargo Pier (MU2). The shipment was destined for the Colombian ports of Tumaco (29,000 barrels) and Buenaventura (20,100 barrels), where it will be received for distribution in the local market.

This export represents the seventh milestone for Petroperú this year, demonstrating the Talara Refinery's ability to produce fuels that meet international quality standards. In this way, Peru consolidates itself as an energy partner in the region and contributes to trade integration with Colombia.

The operation was carried out under strict industrial safety and environmental protection protocols, with the supervision of specialized personnel from Petroperú. Likewise, the use of cutting-edge technology in the loading process guaranteed the efficiency and traceability of the product throughout the operation.

The Talara Refinery is the fuel processing complex that places Peru among the seven most modern refineries in the world, with the capacity to process up to 95,000 barrels per day. Its state-of-the-art technology makes it possible to produce clean fuels that meet the highest international environmental standards.

Seven milestones that consolidate Petroperú in the region:
