The Board of Directors of Petroperú approves new Organizational Structure and progressive restructuring measures

In a session held on February 12, 2026, the Board of Directors of Petroperú approved Board Agreement No. 011-2026-PP, which mandates the implementation of a new Organizational Structure and the adoption of measures aimed at the restructuring and progressive reduction of positions in the Staff Allocation Chart (CAP), as part of the reorganization process established in Emergency Decree No. 010-2025.

The new Organizational Structure will take effect on Monday, February 16, and aims to streamline management levels, optimize functions, and align the organization with the company's current needs, based on its financial and operational situation. Its implementation marks the beginning of the internal reorganization stipulated in the aforementioned decree.

The implementation of these measures includes the adoption of a projected reduction plan of 1,554 positions, which will be executed encompassing all phases of the Emergency Decree's development, and includes:

  • The elimination of vacant positions from the Staff Allocation Chart (CAP) that do not add immediate value.
  • The implementation of the voluntary separation plan.
  • The strict application of the retirement schedule.
  • The non-renewal of temporary and substitute contracts that are not critical for operational continuity.
  • The reduction of positions once the promotion system applicable to the company or its asset blocks has been defined.

With these agreements, Petroperú continues to advance in the implementation of actions aimed at strengthening its financial and operational sustainability, in line with the reorganization process ordered by the State.
