The president of Petroperú held a meeting with the mayors of the Lima East community to coordinate the procurement of fuel and asphalt

With the goal of strengthening urban development in Metropolitan Lima, the mayors of the East Lima Municipality held a working meeting with the president of Petroperú, Alejandro Narváez Liceras, to coordinate the procurement of fuel and asphalt for road construction and improvement in various districts of the capital.
The meeting was chaired by the mayor of Lurigancho-Chosica and president of the Municipality, Oswaldo Vargas Cuellar, who highlighted the importance of establishing strategic alliances with state-owned companies like Petroperú to promote high-impact social projects.
Also participating in the meeting were General Manager Óscar Vera Gargurevich and Corporate Administration Manager José Manuel Rodríguez Haya, as well as Mayors Richard Soria Fuerte (El Agustino), Rubén Cano Altez (La Victoria), Ricardo Pérez Castro (San Luis), and Olimpio Alegría Calderón (Santa Anita), along with technical officials from their respective municipalities. Municipal representatives highlighted the need for high-quality fuels and asphalt produced by Petroperú, which will ensure the supply of their equipment and the durability and efficiency of the roadworks to be carried out. This initiative seeks to optimize connectivity between districts and significantly improve urban infrastructure for the benefit of thousands of residents of East Lima.
The Lima East Municipality is made up of the districts of Lurigancho-Chosica, San Luis, Santa Anita, La Victoria, El Agustino, La Molina, Ate, Surco, San Juan de Lurigancho, and Chaclacayo. Its purpose is to coordinate efforts to improve citizen safety, transportation, neighborhood participation, and urban infrastructure through inter-district projects.
