The Talara Refinery consolidates its operations by exporting high-octane gasoline to premium markets

Petroperú successfully completed the export of 209 thousand barrels of high-octane fuels, between Reformate 98 (133 thousand barrels) and Gasoline 95 (76 thousand barrels), processed at the Talara Refinery and destined for St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The operation was carried out at the Liquid Loading Dock (MU1) of the refinery, using a simultaneous pumping system that maintained an average flow rate of 5,000 barrels per hour. The cargo was transported by the Liberian-flagged MT High Challenge tanker.

With this operation, Petroperú reinforces the positioning of Peruvian fuels in international markets of high technical, quality and environmental demand, demonstrating the competitiveness of Peru's industry and the ability of the Talara Refinery to produce fuels that meet the highest international standards.

The loading was carried out under the supervision of the operations team of the modern refining complex, in compliance with industrial safety and environmental protection protocols, reaffirming Petroperú's commitment to responsible, efficient management aligned with international best practices.
