PETROPERÚ has been successfully developing its program "Educating today for tomorrow's work", which is part of the Social Management Plan of the state company, and which is benefiting students from various educational establishments in various parts of the country, such as Piura, Moquegua and Pasco.

This is how in Talara, the Alejandro Taboada and Crnl schools. FAP Víctor Maldonado Begazo have joined this group, expanding to five the schools of the oil city benefited by this intervention. As it will be recalled, this initiative takes place in the areas of influence of the Talara refineries in Piura and Conchán, south of Lima. Likewise, in the areas adjacent to the Ninacaca sales plants, in Pasco, and the Ilo Terminal, in Moquegua.

Parents, students, and teachers showed their interest and satisfaction with this proposal that seeks to develop the potential and ability to create employment in students, through the development of skills that allow them to enter the labor market.

The program, developed in partnership with the Marcelino Champagnat University and The Learning Factor (TLF), which is an agency focused on the strategic design of learning for change, also seeks to strengthen the performance of teachers in science and technology courses.

Currently there are more than a thousand students enrolled, 4th and 5th year of secondary school, from schools located in Ilo (Moquegua), Ninacaca (Pasco), Pariñas (Talara) and Villa El Salvador (Lima). This first group of registrants are starting the trainings planned in this program this month.
